You're the Skipper, the second interactive book in the series is on the theme of water safety. Three young people take the family boat out. Depending on the gear they take with them and decisions they make on the way, different outcomes arise.

There is a lot of reading milage in this book as reluctant readers re-read the early sections trying to survive ­ or trying out all the non-survival outcomes. In the process they build a useful set of water safety guidlines.

A useful resource for less able readers prior to the summer holidays, as part of a water safety unit, or as a wet-day activity on a class camp.
